Cordelle Wedding Reveal: #LockerLocksItDown
We met Sarah and Ryan on a fall day at a small coffee shop in Green Hills. Instantly, we knew we'd be a perfect fit. Sarah didn't need much helping organizing, planning or much guidance on vendors - she's an attorney and a total 'type A'. We were able to come in a couple months before the wedding and help tie up loose ends, so she could enjoy the last few weeks of engagement.
The bridal party, particularly the littles, were the A-team! The sweet flower girls were professionals.
These two are best friends. Ryan is the most romantic groom we've met! And, Sarah is his perfect balance. It's fun just to listen to them banter. They joke Ryan is Sarah's warm, gooey center. And, c’mon, they honeymooned in Napa. These are our people.
The ceremony was hosted indoors in the Victorian room. Guests transitioned outdoors for cocktail hour as the Victorian and event hall area were flipped for lounging and dancing. Dinner was served family-style on our Lucy farm tables paired with our bistro chairs. Guests enjoyed amazing fall weather under bistro lights on the lawn at The Cordelle!
After dinner, the band played start to finish without breaks! Guests loved the band, and it’s pretty obvious. We had a few guys lose their shirts in the fun. Hiring a great band doesn’t guarantee dancing. Two important factors contribute to all night dancing.
First, a band that’s excited to be there, fed and can read the crowd is crucial. Second, a crowd ready to dance is imperative! Because we moved all the dancing inside, guests weren’t distracted with sitting at their table. We had lounge furniture for those that needed to sit and chat. But, 90% of the wedding danced all night. That's rare! This is the magic formula.
