Carnton Plantation: A Sunday Wedding
Carnton Plantation is one of those special venues outside of Nashville that’s full of history, romance and a neutral space for any style and really any budget. Christine and her mom, Nancy, hired our team early in planning! But, to our surprise, Christine was already married to Laurentiu! They married in a Romanian ceremony months prior to our on-boarding. Nancy and Gordon, Christine's parents, were thrilled to host a traditional ceremony in Nashville for close friends and family.
Christine loves rich colors and decided on a royal purple -- what I like to call egg plant. She paired the egg plant with the contrast of gold accents. When selecting rentals, she had such a great ability to be decisive.
With a small wedding for 70, we hosted guests from around the globe. And, Nashville didn’t disappoint. The weather was perfect and humidity was low. The plantation's garden was blooming and everything is so green!
We’ve hosted quite a bi-cultural weddings where guests are from different regions around the world and speak different languages. And, more often than not guests are visiting the United States for the first time. Laurentiu’s parents gave their blessing in their native language and a cousin was able to translate to the English speaking guests!
